Shout-out to all the fellow wellness advocates of the (Raw) Republic!

We want to know, “How do you fuel your fitness and stay focused on your goals?”

A couple months ago in our recent blog, “New Year, New You – How Committed are You?” we discussed the idea of goal setting and strategizing with healthy habits. We are aware that to support our peak performance abilities, we need to be mindful of the food we intake, and how we support our overall wellbeing.

Food as Fuel (Nourishment & Energy)

Our bodies register food as information, and considering how diverse our unique bio-dome can be, it would make sense that our responses to certain diets and lifestyles can display various results. At Raw Republic, we provide food that is prepared with only fresh and natural ingredients. Here, you can discover options that keep you healthy, and leave you feeling energized for the task at hand.

Eat to optimize your well-being versus living to satisfy your instant gratification while eating poorly.  Bring more mindfulness to your meals by choosing nutrient-dense foods over empty calories! Indulge in variety of flavorful foods (superfoods!) that are rich in diversified enzymes, phytonutrients, and favorable bacteria.

Moreover, to build muscle and maintain a healthy lifestyle, your exercise routine will only benefit greatly by regularly consuming high quality fruits and vegetables. The abundance of amino acids, micronutrients, and antioxidants will aid in the creation of a fit body that is capable of great athletic performance.

On the other hand, when we consume processed and refined foods, we sacrifice a huge proportion of these nutrients. We acquire toxic baggage that comes with that type of food; including excess fat, cholesterol, sugars, artificial coloring, additives, preservatives, and even the ingredients that are used to make yoga mats and plastic could be snuck in as fillers. Might as well throw in the bathroom sink!
